Digging through some photos on the laptop, I realized I had forgotten to post these pictures of one of the last Fall runs in Robe Canyon.
Llamas for days son! That's just how we roll here in WA.
We had a huge crew, by Robe standards, where you usually only see 3 or 4 people on the run all day. With 16 people on the water the sun was out and the lines were good.
At 5.05 feet on the gage, most people would opt out of the run. Seeing as there wasn't much else in, everyone rallied!
The pictures speak for themselves: Good times were found in the canyon.
Enjoy:
We don't see sun in Robe Canyon very much so this backlighting was just awesome to photograph.
The portage around Landslide is always changing. I was able to get a cool perspective from River Left as the boys portaged.
Garbage rapid, which is actually pretty choice. Just don't roll in there.
Good lines in Cat's Paw and 20 foot'r.
The staging area for Off Broadway. Do I want to go right? Do I need to go right..?
A Portlander showing the boys how to cope with the right side of Off Broadway.
Adrian Wigston routing down the middle of the lead-in to Off Broadway.
Until next time: Drive Fast and Take Lots of Chances.
